Imagine being in a spacecraft floating in outer space, circling our beautiful Earth. You look down and see our planet, green and blue and true. You can’t see corona, you can’t see poverty, you can’t see hopelessness. All you see is our home, from way up above. And as the world turns slowly below you, in perfect harmony, for that moment there is peace and quiet.
This is the state we need to be in when it comes to mindfulness. In that one moment, free from questions, free from judgement, free from time itself. Take a deep breath and imagine yourself floating there above the Earth. You are safe, you are content, you are there and there alone. Bring yourself back to this moment when you find yourself worrying about things you can’t change. We are not bound by time, we are bound by our minds.
